This year I wanted to challenge myself and get out there - and what's a better reason to do it than for a charity!
I am very much not what you would describe as 'athletic', so the events I've signed up to below are definitely a challenge for me. Luckily, I have my amazing boyfriend Jack, who will be taking part in all of the below and raising money for his own choice of charities (go check it out!!). Donating will not only motivate me but also help charities and the people who need it most. Even sharing with your connections would help absolutely massively.
No matter £1 or £100, your help is appreciated more than you might ever know...

Autumn Wolf Run
A mud, trail, and obstacle running course over 10K
12th September 2026
As I'm writing this, I can hardly run a 5k..let alone a 10k, and my upper body strength is near nonexistent - so this will definitely be interesting🤣
One of the charities I've decided to raise money for is DEBRA UK, where I've just started working. They are a national charity and patient support organisation for people living with epidermolysis bullosa (EB), also known as Butterfly Skin. Inherited EB is a group of rare and incredibly painful genetic skin conditions that cause the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch - there is no cure. Whilst working here, I've heard so many stories from various families which are heartbreaking, but all of them are so determined to continue fighting for treatments to help stop the pain of EB. I hadn't heard of them before working here, so I want to help spread awareness within my contacts. If you want to support, you can donate, share with your contacts, or even visit their website to find out more - debra.org.uk
My second charity is Breast Cancer Now. My mum lost her battle against Cancer when I was 16, which started as breast cancer and then swiftly spread throughout the rest of her body. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and I hope that in fundraising for them, it can help support those who need it and their families.
